William ("Bill") Cridland, who now lives in Bolton MA, USA, writes: "I was born in Newport Mon, South Wales. Other family members ran a Charabanc fleet of vehicles, and when I was a child, I used to see the Cridland buses, but only in South Wales. No doubt they were all over, since they had a large fleet. Grey buses with the big "Cridlands" name in gold on the side. When the buses passed I use to be so proud to see my name whizzing by."
Cridland and Rose of Bristol was the family firm, until the factory was bombed in the second world war. Do you have any items from Cridland and Rose?
